“We are extremely pleased to welcome Jeremy and Joseph to the Southern Ocean Medical Center Foundation,” says Joseph Stampe, south regional president and foundation chief development officer of Hackensack Meridian Health. “Both of these individuals are well known within the community and will be tremendous assets as we work to build upon the extraordinary offerings already in place at this medical center. Community support is crucial to being able to provide enhancements, and we are thrilled to welcome these two outstanding members to our enthusiastic board.”

He is also an active member of the Southern Ocean Chamber of Commerce. DeFilippis lives in Beach Haven Crest with his wife Crystal and their two dogs.

Originally from northern New Jersey, Rulli moved to the area when he was eight years old and is now the owner of Joey’s Pizza & Pasta, with three locations in Manahawkin, Ship Bottom and Beach Haven Crest. He is a former board member of the Stafford Little League, as well as the treasurer and vice president of fundraising for the organization. He lives in Stafford Township with his wife, Lori, and their two children. Rulli is a graduate of the Philadelphia School of Advertising.

“It’s so important to have a strong board of trustees and I know that the addition of Joseph and Jeremy will greatly complement our existing members,” says Kenneth N. Sable, M.D., MBA, FACEP, regional president, southern market, Hackensack Meridian Health. “Southern Ocean Medical Center is poised for great growth and having such strong individuals in our corner will truly help to propel this local hospital to the next level. We are grateful for their desire to serve on the board.”
