Lights of Life to Shine at Southern Ocean Medical Center on December 10, 2015

Manahawkin, NJ - The community is invited to gather on Thursday, December 10, 2015 to share in the poignant tradition known as Lights of Life at Southern Ocean Medical Center.

The annual Lights of Life tree lighting program will take place at 6:00 p.m. near the Reynolds Arboretum, located on Southern Ocean Medical Center’s main campus on Route 72 West in Manahawkin. Residents are invited to purchase a symbolic light, star, bell, dove, or angel in honor or in memory of family and friends. In addition, a commemorative journal will list the names of all of those who will be honored or remembered.

Adding to the fun will be performances by the local McKinley Elementary School choir, a visit from Santa Claus, and other holiday treats. This year Southern Ocean Medical Center Foundation will also recognize several community members for their special service to the medical center and the surrounding community. Lights of Life is free, and open to the public.

For more information about Lights of Life, or to make a donation in honor or in memory of someone, contact the Southern Ocean Medical Center Foundation at 609-978-3081.
