Varicose veins are dilated veins in your leg that may cause mild to severe pain.  Vascular expert Jeffrey Hager, D.O., will discuss the causes of this condition and will cover the latest treatments.

Meridian offers baby-sitting training for boys and girls ages 11 to 14.  This class will review safety for both the sitters and the children left in their care in a fun learning environment.  Handling emergencies, first aid, and CPR are included.

Neurologist Tommasina Papa-Rugino, M.D., will provide an overview of the changes that occur after a brain injury. She will also discuss what everyone should know about concussions.
