"Taking a Breath for Women Breakfast" Scheduled for Wednesday, January 22

Meridian Cancer Care experts to be featured at American Lung Association event  

Neptune, NJ - Lung disease in women is often under-diagnosed and untreated.  Education and increased awareness of lung cancer can help save lives through, early detection and effective treatment. In its first year, the "Taking a Breath for Women Breakfast" will feature, education, networking, information, fun and inspiration.

Please join Meridian Cancer Care and the American Lung Association on Wednesday, January 22, at the Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township as they educate the women of New Jersey with important information regarding lung cancer. The event will be held from 8 to 11:30 a.m.

Meridian Health experts, Mark Krasna, M.D, medical director, Meridian Cancer Care and Terri Pietsch, Meridian Nurse Navigator will speak at the program discussing risk factors, treatments and symptoms, smoking cessation options along with providing other life-saving and life-changing valuable information that you will be able to share with your employees, colleagues and families.
