MERIDIAN HEALTH PATIENTS CAN NOW SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS ONLINE WITH DOCTORS

Free Service Powered by ZocDoc Makes Medical Appointments Available Instantly Online  

Neptune, NJ - Meridian Health has introduced a new service to the residents of Monmouth and Ocean counties, offering instant online access to appointments with 70 of Meridian’s physicians. The service gives patients a simple, convenient way to book a doctor’s appointment at any time, even when the doctor’s office is closed. Patients are able to book online appointments with Internal and Family Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and Ear, Nose and Throat physicians, using their computer, tablet or mobile device.

The new service is powered by ZocDoc – a company with a mission of improving healthcare access, through strategic partnerships with organizations such as Meridian Health. To use the free service, patients visit MeridianHealth.com and click on “Find a Physician,” followed by the ZocDoc “Book Online” button.  Patients can then see each doctor’s availability, along with qualifications, patient reviews, photos, and helpful tools to assist them in selecting the practitioner who best fits their needs. Patients simply select a timeslot and complete a brief checkout process to book an appointment. Prior to the appointment, they will also receive email and text message appointment reminders for added convenience. This service is available online and through ZocDoc’s mobile app for smartphones.
