New Brunswick, NJ - Continuing to build on its collective strength in the areas of oncology research and treatment, The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) has announced that Meridian Cancer Care, the comprehensive collection of cancer specialists and services of Meridian Health, has been designated as its "System Partner." "Meridian's affiliation as a System Partner reflects its value to the CINJ Network of affiliated hospitals and its close working relationship with CINJ," said Molly Gabel, M.D., director of the CINJ Network and associate professor of radiation oncology at UMNDJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. "Through its membership in many Network-wide task force groups aimed at improving cancer care throughout New Jersey and by its active membership in CINJ's research network, the CINJ Oncology Group (CINJOG), Meridian Cancer Care demonstrates its strong commitment to the communities of New Jersey."

"At Meridian, we look beyond a patient's cancer, viewing them as the individual they are," said Marc Lory, president of Meridian Hospitals Corporation and executive vice president of, Meridian Health .
