Annual Meridian Health Gala Promises an Elegant Southern Evening

Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations highly-anticipated event to benefit not-for-profit hospital and health care provider

Neptune, NJ - The Thirteenth Annual Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations Gala will be held on Saturday, November 20, at 6:00 p.m. at the Ocean Place Resort and Spa in Long Branch. This year's Gala will be co-chaired by Gina Petillo of Colts Neck and Carol Stillwell of Holmdel.

As one of the area's leading fund-raisers, the gala benefits Meridian's not-for-profit hospitals and community health programs in both Monmouth and Ocean counties. Last year's gala raised over $500,000 and had over 650 supporters in attendance.

The 2010 Gala theme will transport guests back in time to "A Taste of Southern Elegance," and will include live entertainment from the Gerard Carelli Orchestra, and feature luxurious live and silent auctions.

Tickets for this year's Gala are $375 per person, but with limited seating, early reservations are encouraged. Sponsorships and journal advertising are currently available. This year's newest sponsorship opportunity is the BidPal Sponsor which allows for a logo to be displayed on the BidPal iTouch device which all Gala guests will use to bid on the silent auction items.

The 2010 Gala's 50/50 "super raffle" tickets are priced at $100 each, with a limited amount still available. Half of the proceeds for each raffle ticket purchased will benefit the Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations.

For more information or to secure a sponsorship opportunity, please call Michelle Casserly, Special Events associate, at 732-751-5112.
